Excuses and the Truth
Everyone has excuses for what they do and what they don’t do. From working out to eating right to getting the job that they really want, excuses are our way of slowing our lives down when we get afraid.
I’m calling bull on the excuses.
Sorry, don’t mean to be harsh but since we all have them – and we know it – what is the problem?
The truth of the matter is that we are afraid or unsure or not feeling confident in our ability to run a business. We have questions we can’t answer. We don’t know if we will actually succeed or not.
If you want to run your own business, you have to 86 the excuses. Not just once but every single day. Every. Single. Day. You must show up and you must act like the CEO of your business. That applies when you feel like it and when you don’t.
The litmus test is the question, “If you knew you could succeed, really KNEW it, but never took the steps forward to do so, how would you feel?”
Not good, right. Get to work.
